Mangaung Capital (PTY) Ltd, trading as Weighty Equipment Repair and Maintenance Solutions (WERMS) Southern Africa, was established in 2008 under Botswana’s Companies Act. Founded by Basireletsi J. Loeto and Israel Otukile, both seasoned heavy equipment artisans, they both brings over 30 years of combined experience in repair, maintenance, and technical training for a wide range of OEM machinery, including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Bateman, O&K, and Liebherr. Their expertise spans modern maintenance practices, condition monitoring, and personnel development, ensuring efficient and reliable equipment solutions.

Our Directors

Basireletsi J. Loeto
Technical Services Director

Loeto has a wealth of experience spanning from support equipment maintenance (dozers and trucks), shovel maintenance as well as technical training in the field of heavy/weighty equipment.
He is responsible for managing and directing all company’s services and products. He develops and monitors programs to ensure that all of WERMS customer needs are addressed promptly and proactively and also ensures that all technical work generated meets the company’s procedures and standards of quality.

Israel Otukile
Operations Director

A true professional in the field of earthmoving maintenance, Otukile’s experience spans as far as condition monitoring of mobile and stationery plant, having worked as an Oil diagnostician of Orapa and Morupule mines determining the wear rates and trends on all the mines equipment.
He is mainly charged with ensuring that projects are resourced sufficiently and completed in the agreed times. He also manages WERMS staff and is responsible for targeting specific areas in which a company may need to improve operational efficiencies.
